Sandy says, "Afterwards, I pictured myself in that classroom with the teacher yelling-screaming at me, and felt a lightness, peace and serenity. It was quite powerful."
just finished listening to Webinar #27 and felt compelled to share my experience. I used a situation in 3rd grade when the teacher yelled at me in front of the class because I was unable to give her an answer to a math question. I felt shame and humiliation at the time and frozen. Math anxiety and standing up in front of groups or answering questions test or whatever has always caused anxiety in me. I have been a critical care RN for years. In the early years doing calculations for meds was always scary.
So when Linda (the volunteer in the Webinar) did the exercise with her Mom, I did it with that teacher and pictured her infant inside. Calling in The Unseen Therapist (my spiritual guide) and going into the light during that exercise, I felt the light fill up within myself and that teacher's infant. Afterwards, I pictured myself in that classroom with the teacher yelling-screaming at me, and felt a lightness, peace and serenity. It was quite powerful.
Thank you Gary,
