Gabrielle Rutten, MD uses Optimal EFT to bring a quick resolution to a strong anger issue.

Hi Everyone,

Interestingly, the client in this case felt a state of Oneness instead of anger.  Gabrielle says, Anger was at a 10. We closed our eyes, after 30 sec she was completely at peace and told me: "very strange, I felt a very strong urge to forgive him, I wanted to stay angry at him but all of a sudden I thought "oh he is only another human being fighting his own demons (alcohol) and then we merged and became one.'

e-hugs, Gary

Dear Gary,

Last week I used Optimal EFT for the first time with a client of mine. I have been studying all the material on your website for some time and I am almost up to date with all the webinars, so I figured it was about time to start using it and practicing it real time.

Anyway, here is my experience:

L is a lovely woman with big issues on deserving love and attention, her core issue being that she is not important, nobody cares about her, everybody is very "nonchalant" with her. i.e. cancelling appointments, changing plans on short notice etc. In short, nobody pays attention to her needs, she is not heard.

I have worked with her for some time, collapsing many, many specific events with this theme. It takes me always many rounds of tapping with lots of reframes to clear out the "event of the day". Sometimes, we can only do 1 specific event in the whole one hour session. Oftentimes she comes storming into my office, steam literally coming out of her ears, so angry is she all the time at everybody and everything......

Last week, same story. She was VERY VERY angry at some students for having a party on the floor above her and playing very loud music the day before. She went up twice, first time to "ask" (already very upset) them to be more quiet, second time shouting at them, actually pulling out the wires from the loadspeakers and shoving a guy, two heads taller than she is, away. The students were too drunk to react much, otherwise she would have ended up in a real fight.

I asked her to relive the crescendo of the situation: anger at a 9 on a scale of 0-10.. Then instructed her to send a loving feeling to all the places were the anger was in her body and that I would do the same. I invited The Unseen Therapist and generated a loving feeling.

In 10 seconds, she smiled, opened her eyes and said: "this is strange, I can feel the anger flowing out of me (anger now a 5) and after another round the anger was 0. She also said she felt compassion for the students. We did 1 round for her feelings of guilt and shame. I tested all aspects of the whole scene: nothing. I have never seen her release her emotions so quickly and she has never felt any compassion towards whoever is the cause of her negative emotions.

And than there was the second part of the story:  later that night, she went outside to walk her dog and she ran into one of the students who was verbally abusive to her from a little distance. If he had been nearer, she would have hit him. Anger was at a 10. We closed our eyes, after 30 sec she was completely at peace and told me: "very strange, I felt a very strong urge to forgive him, I wanted to stay angry at him but all of a sudden I thought "oh he is only another human being fighting his own demons (alcohol) and then we merged and became one.'

I thought it was interesting that she actually became one with the other person. I hadn't explained very much about the proces and had told her only it was a different, more meditative, way of resolving emotions. I also did not explain (yet) about The Unseen Therapist and the whole process of Optimal EFT.

A beautiful demonstration of oneness, don't you think? And how amazingly effective!

Love,  Gabrielle
